History about the temple
Muktagiri Siddha Kshetra Jain tirth establishes 52 Jain temples, the most seasoned one of which is a cavern. These temples were worked during the thirteenth fourteenth century. The angled access to the cavern temple has carvings of lotus with little pictures of tirthankar cut on each side of the entryway, with a picture of Mahavir Swami in lotus position introduced in the entrance door. It contains a square garbhagriha with mandapa having carvings of departures. Mandapa is a round structure dependent on two columns and four kudya stambhas. On mandapa's divider pictures of tirthankaras has been cut. The cavern comprises around 56 pictures of tirthankars. The seven hooded icon of Parshvanath in the 26th temple is viewed as a superb illustration of craftsmanship. The primary temples are the main, they are10th, 26th and 40th.
About the temple
Muktagiri, or Mendhagiri, is a Jain journey community, situated on the line of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra in India.
