History about the temple

Muktagiri Siddha Kshetra Jain tirth establishes 52 Jain temples, the most seasoned one of which is a cavern. These temples were worked during the thirteenth fourteenth century. The angled access to the cavern temple has carvings of lotus with little pictures of tirthankar cut on each side of the entryway, with a picture of Mahavir Swami in lotus position introduced in the entrance door. It contains a square garbhagriha with mandapa having carvings of departures. Mandapa is a round structure dependent on two columns and four kudya stambhas. On mandapa's divider pictures of tirthankaras has been cut. The cavern comprises around 56 pictures of tirthankars.  The seven hooded icon of Parshvanath in the 26th temple is viewed as a superb illustration of craftsmanship. The primary temples are the main, they are10th, 26th and 40th.

About the temple

Muktagiri, or Mendhagiri, is a Jain journey community, situated on the line of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra in India. It goes under Bhainsdehi tehsil of Betul region and is 14 km from Paratwada in Amravati area. It is encircled by a cascade and a few Jain temples worked in current architecture.  It is accepted that each individual who visits this tirth will accomplish nirvana, paying little heed to their faith.  According to Jain legends, it downpours saffron and sandalwood in each eighth century. For arriving at the temple complex one needs to take 600 stairs. Like Kundalpur, Girnar Jain temple, Dilwara temples and Shikharji, the Muktagiri temple complex is known for its rich design.
