Padmaprabha is the sixth tirthankar in 24 tirthankars. He was born to King Sridhara and Queen Susimadevi. He was born at Kosambi (Present-day Kaushambi district, UttarPradesh) India in the Ikshvaku dynasty. The meaning of Padmaprabha is ‘bright as a lotus’. The predecessor is Sumathinatha and the successor is Suparshvanatha. His height is 250 bows (750m). He lived till the age of 30 lakh purvas. He died in Shikharji, Giridih district,  Jharkhand, India. The famous temples of Padmaprabha are Padmaprabha temple, Jaipur, Rajasthan and other one is Mahudi Jain temple, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
