Rock-cut pictures of the 23rd Tirthankara, Parshvanatha, Vardhaman Mahavira 24th Tirthankara and Padmavati devi are in the temple.  Padmavati Devi is loved as Bhagawathi by the nearby population.The significant celebration of the temple is praised from Karthika of month Vrishchika and as a rule goes on for a week.

About the temple

Kallil Temple is a Hindu temple situated at Kerala, South India. It is 12 km away from Perumbavoor in Ernakulam locale of Kerala. Kallil in Malayalam signifies 'in stone'. It is perhaps the oldest Jain temple in Kerala. It is one of the secured landmarks in Kerala under Archeological Survey of India.The temple, situated in a 28-section of land plot, is cut from a colossal stone, and a move of 120 stages prompts the temple. To arrive at the temple one needs to travel a distance of around 2 km from Odakkali, on the Aluva Munnar Road and 10 km from Perumbavoor. The temple is claimed by the Kallil Pisharody family. The present Karanavar of the family turned over all the authoritative control of the temple and every one of its assets to 'Chenkottukonam Sree Ramadasashramam'. However, all that recovered back because of some problem between neighborhood individuals and Ashram specialists.
