History about the temple

Raja Harsukh Rai, royal financier in the late Mughal period, developed a huge and elaborate Jain sanctuary in the Dharampura territory of Old Delhi in 1807 during the standard of Mughal Emperor Akbar II with an expense of around 8 Lakh rupees, at that point a huge amount. About the temple

The temple was founded in 1807. The temple is built in dharmapura lane, chandni chowk, Delhi. The main deity in the temple is Rishabanatha, the first tirthankar. At one time many Jain sanctuaries contained a hidden chamber called bhony safeguard sculptures during grieved times to shroud them. Naya Mandir additionally has a disguised chamber. The chamber has now been given the type of a cavern, appropriate for serene contemplation by visiting Jain priests.
